Unfortunately the caldera itself does not lend itself well to being accessed by wheel chairs. The site is largely underdeveloped due to planning restrictions in place, paths down into the caldera consists of stone and gravel so comfortable or sensible footware is advised. At the rim of the caldera there is a shaded and welcome cafe that is fully accessible to wheel chair users
